The mission of Market Vision Partners, Inc. is to provide quality real estate research and consulting to housing authorities.  Our focus is primarily rent reasonableness solutions, but we have also performed market demand analyses and other special projects for our clients.

We strive to bring a private-market approach to bear on our analyses. We understand the implications of operating government subsidized programs in the real world marketplace.  

We believe that the interaction of landlord, tenant and housing authority requires respect for each party.  Landlords deserve to be paid the same price the unsubsidized market would pay.  If a housing authority pays too much for rental units, that market can be destabilized, if too little is offered, tenants will lack decent housing opportunities.  Fairness is found in the central pricing tendencies of the market.

Our vision is to provide tools and information that help housing authorities prepare honest and defensible rent offers to landlords and affordable housing options to tenants.  Long term we hope to provide even more options to simplify the process of making the subsidized world function as closely to the unsubsidized world as possible.
